Quinoa Salad – A Complete Protein!

Call it salad, call it tabbouleh…it’s selling like crazy at Elawa Farm’s Summer Market this year! And luckily it’s also free of gluten, dairy, soy, egg, tree nuts, peanuts and corn!

And so many ways to reinvent it!

Gale Gand did spoonfuls for a recent event:

And then she changed the spoon…but not the quinoa salad recipe! 😉

And I served it up with lettuce cups for an open house:

Michelle’s quinoa salad has become my favorite lunch! It’s addictive. Even for someone with no food allergies or restrictions. I buy it at the Elawa Farm garden market, and sometimes it even makes it into a meal to be shared by others. 😉

It is one of the best-selling items at the market…and to think it’s gluten-free and allergy-friendly!!

I must confess to my addiction to Michelle’s quinoa salad. Currently, I am in withdrawal (boo hoo!) as the regular Elawa Garden Market has ended (except for Holiday Market!!) for the season. Is there a support group for quinoa withdrawal?? Try it; you’ll be hooked too!
